ITINERARY:

DAY1

SANTIAGO DE CALI

After you complete immigration and customs, a representative will be waiting for you outside Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport (CLO) to assist with your luggage and transfer you to the Hotel Ibis, located in the Granada neighborhood of Cali.

During the short drive, you will receive a brief introduction to the city along with a few helpful tips for your stay. Once at the hotel, your guide will review the details of your itinerary with you.

Guests arriving in Cali before 2:00 PM on Friday are invited to join us for an optional afternoon city tour — a great opportunity to get an early taste of the city’s vibrant culture, delicious local cuisine, and key landmarks. For those arriving later in the day, don’t worry! You'll still experience the very best of Cali throughout the rest of the weekend with plenty of time to immerse yourself in everything this incredible city has to offer.

DAY2

HIKE IN THE FARALLONES DE CALI NATIONAL PARK

On our second day, we’ll take you to one of Colombia’s most iconic national parks — Parque Nacional Natural Farallones de Cali — a place famous for its incredible biodiversity, breathtaking views, and crystal-clear rivers and streams.

Accompanied by our bilingual guides and expert naturalist, you’ll discover the fascinating plants, trees, and wildlife that call this rich ecosystem home.

We'll start the day by picking you up at your hotel and taking you to a local bakery for a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the adventure ahead. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive to the charming town of Pance. Once we arrive at the trailhead, our lead guide will give you a full briefing on the hike, the distance, and interesting facts about the park.

Since Parque Nacional Farallones de Cali covers a vast area, we offer two hiking options to suit your preference:

  1. A relaxed, easy hike 

  2. A more challenging, intermediate hike covering a longer distance

Both options promise a fun, interactive, and peaceful experience surrounded by the beauty of nature.

During the hike, you'll have the opportunity to spot different types of wildlife, including a large number of butterflies, colorful birds, amphibians, and much more. Throughout the day, we’ll keep your energy up with a snack kit full of healthy treats and refreshing drinks.

And to refresh both body and soul, we’ll have the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters that flow directly from the mountains — an unforgettable way to connect with this magical place.

DAY 3

CLOUD FOREST & BIRDWATCHING TOUR IN THE MOUNTAINS OF CALI

On the third day of our itinerary, we’ll take you on a very relaxing adventure just 40 minutes from Cali, visiting two important natural reserves filled with natural beauty and local charm.

Our first stop will be La Elvira, a place known for its incredible diversity of bird species, including several endemic to the region. While exploring the different trails, you'll spot a variety of hummingbirds, toucans, and colorful tanagers in their natural habitat. A delicious breakfast and lunch will be served as we enjoy our time surrounded by the cloud forest and the peaceful energy of the place.

After a morning of birdwatching and relaxation, we’ll continue to our second stop — a true botanical sanctuary nestled in the lush mountains near Cali. This special place is El Refugio Nature Center, managed by the respected biologist and conservationist Dr. Eduardo, who has dedicated his life to preserving Colombia’s native flora and educating visitors about its incredible biodiversity.

El Refugio is home to a remarkable orchid collection, featuring a wide variety of native and endemic species. The center also contains a large number of anthuriums, heliconias, and bromeliads, creating a vibrant landscape bursting with color and life. Among the trails, you’ll also find endemic trees, including Colombia’s national tree, the wax palm, as well as medicinal plants and exotic fruit trees.

During your visit, you’ll have the chance to taste tropical fruits grown on-site and enjoy either a freshly brewed Colombian coffee or a locally made craft beer — with the option to purchase a bottle to take home.

After exploring, taking photos, and soaking in the peace of this natural paradise, we’ll return to Cali for a relaxing evening.

    • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

    • The balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the start date of the tour.

    • Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or online payment platform (Rezdy).

    • Cancellations made more than 15 days before the tour will receive a full refund minus a small processing fee (if applicable).

    • Cancellations made 7–14 days prior will receive a 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour start date are non-refundable.

    • In case of no-shows, no refunds will be issued.

    • You may reschedule your tour once at no additional charge, provided you give at least 7 days’ notice.

    • Changes requested less than 7 days before the start date are subject to availability and may incur a fee.

    • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

    • Minimum age to participate: 12 years old (unless it's a private family tour).

    • This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
