ITINERARY:

DAY1

SANTIAGO DE CALI

Upon arrival at Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport (CLO), guests will be met by an EcotoursPuraVida representative and transferred to their hotel in Cali's vibrant Granada district.

After check-in and time to relax, we will review the itinerary, go over the most important details of the trip, and answer any questions guests may have.

Guests arriving before 2:00 PM may join an optional city tour featuring some of Cali's most iconic landmarks, local gastronomy, and traditional Colombian coffee. This experience offers an excellent introduction to the city's culture, history, and lively atmosphere.

In the evening, guests may choose to enjoy a welcome drink in one of Cali's popular social areas before returning to the hotel.

DAY2

HIKE IN THE FARALLONES DE CALI NATIONAL PARK

On our second day, we’ll take you to one of Colombia’s most iconic national parks — Parque Nacional Natural Farallones de Cali — a place famous for its incredible biodiversity, breathtaking views, and crystal-clear rivers and streams.

Accompanied by our bilingual guides and expert naturalist, you’ll discover the fascinating plants, trees, and wildlife that call this rich ecosystem home.

We'll start the day by picking you up at your hotel and taking you to a local bakery for a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the adventure ahead. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive to the charming town of Pance. Once we arrive at the trailhead, our lead guide will give you a full briefing on the hike, the distance, and interesting facts about the park.

Since Parque Nacional Farallones de Cali covers a vast area, we offer two hiking options to suit your preference:

  1. A relaxed, easy hike 

  2. A more challenging, intermediate hike covering a longer distance

Both options promise a fun, interactive, and peaceful experience surrounded by the beauty of nature.

During the hike, you'll have the opportunity to spot different types of wildlife, including a large number of butterflies, colorful birds, amphibians, and much more. Throughout the day, we’ll keep your energy up with a snack kit full of healthy treats and refreshing drinks.

And to refresh both body and soul, we’ll have the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters that flow directly from the mountains — an unforgettable way to connect with this magical place.

DAY 3

CLOUD FOREST & BIRDWATCHING TOUR IN THE MOUNTAINS OF CALI

Today we will explore two beautiful nature reserves located in the mountains near Cali.

Our first stop is La Elvira, a peaceful cloud forest reserve known for its excellent birdwatching opportunities. Here, guests can observe hummingbirds, toucans, tanagers, and many other species while enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding forest. Breakfast and lunch are included.

In the afternoon, we will visit El Refugio Nature Center, a botanical sanctuary home to orchids, heliconias, bromeliads, anthuriums, wax palms, and many other native plants. Guests will learn about Colombia's incredible biodiversity while walking through the gardens and natural trails.

Before returning to Cali, there will be time to enjoy fresh tropical fruits and a cup of locally grown Colombian coffee.

DAY 4: FAREWELL & OPTIONAL EXTRAS

  • On your final day, enjoy a relaxing breakfast and optional short activity, like a morning walk or city tour.

  • Check-out is at 11:00 AM, and we can assist with transportation back to the airport depending on your flight time.

  • We recommend booking your departure in the afternoon or evening, so you can enjoy a peaceful and unhurried end to your adventure.

    • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

    • The balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the start date of the tour.

    • Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or online payment platform (Rezdy).

    • Cancellations made more than 15 days before the tour will receive a full refund minus a small processing fee (if applicable).

    • Cancellations made 7–14 days prior will receive a 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour start date are non-refundable.

    • In case of no-shows, no refunds will be issued.

    • You may reschedule your tour once at no additional charge, provided you give at least 7 days’ notice.

    • Changes requested less than 7 days before the start date are subject to availability and may incur a fee.

    • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

    • This tour involves moderate to challenging hikes and exposure to natural elements (rain, sun, bugs).

    • Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies in advance.

    • Participants should be in good physical health and comfortable walking on uneven terrain.

    • Activities may be adjusted due to weather or environmental conditions to ensure guest safety.

    • We do our best to maintain the full experience but cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings or weather.

    • Minimum age to participate: 12 years old (unless it's a private family tour).

    • This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
