Important Information!

Dense mangroves in the Rosario Islands provide essential shelter and food for a variety of marine life—often visible during our snorkeling tours in the areas we explore.

  • Our staff is fully trained in safety procedures and first aid, and all equipment is regularly inspected to ensure a safe experience. Participants are required to follow all safety instructions at all times.

    The journey to the islands is generally scenic and enjoyable; however, during certain months, sea conditions may be choppier, making the boat ride more dynamic. For safety reasons, an early return to Cartagena may occasionally be necessary. In such cases, guests will be informed directly by the on-site administration.

  • Our tours operate rain or shine, but if conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule or provide a refund according to our cancellation policy.

  • Please arrive at La Bodeguita Pier 4 at least 20 minutes prior to departure, where a member of the Coralina staff will be waiting to guide you. Departures begin at 8:00 a.m., as authorized by the Port Captain. Return from the island is scheduled between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., with arrival back at the dock at approximately 4:00 p.m.

  • This tour is not recommended for children under 13 years of age, adults over 70, pregnant women, individuals with limited mobility, or travelers with serious medical conditions, including back, heart, or respiratory issues, as boat travel and snorkeling activities may be physically demanding.

  • We strongly recommend that all participants carry personal travel or health insurance that covers outdoor activities such as boat travel and snorkeling.

    Our tour operation carries civil liability insurance; however, this coverage does not replace individual personal insurance.

    By joining this tour, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and accept the inherent risks associated with outdoor and marine activities. EcotoursPuraVida and our guides cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, or damage incurred during the experience. We do offer local assistance insurance for our guests; however, this coverage is limited and should be considered complementary to your personal insurance.

  • You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. 

    If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. 

    Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. 

  • This is a shared, public experience conducted on a fast speed boat, and you will be joined by participants from other hotels or hostels.

    To ensure a comfortable and personalized experience, the fast speed boat has a maximum capacity of 45 guests per day.

    Most of our group tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. As the tour provider, working in partnership with Coralina, we reserve the right to cancel a departure if this minimum is not met. In such cases, guests will be contacted in advance and offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
