Start your adventure on Colombia’s Pacific coast with an unforgettable boat ride, where you’ll witness humpback whales breaching and playing in the warm tropical waters. Keep your eyes peeled — you might also spot sea turtles, graceful rays, and playful dolphins sharing the waves.
After this magical marine experience, we’ll head to the Botanical Garden of the Pacific in Playa Mecana, a living sanctuary of biodiversity and traditional ecological knowledge. Enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by nature, followed by some time to rest and take in the peaceful atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we’ll set out on a 2–3 hour guided hike through the garden’s lush rainforest trails. Along the way, you’ll discover endemic orchids, medicinal plants, towering ceibas, heliconias, and palms. The garden is also a refuge for colorful butterflies, frogs, tropical birds like toucans and tanagers, and small forest mammals.
