Paramillo del Quindio Trekking – 3 days - 2 nights

Explore high-altitude Andean landscapes, from cloud forests to páramo ecosystems, on an unforgettable multi-day trekking adventure.

Take on one of Colombia’s most demanding and rewarding high-mountain adventures with our Paramillo del Quindío Trek (3 Days / 2 Nights), an expedition deep into the wild landscapes of Los Nevados National Natural Park. This is a true challenge designed for those who want to push their limits and experience the Andes at their rawest.

The Paramillo del Quindío Trek takes you deep into the heart of the Colombian Andes, where dramatic high-mountain landscapes and untouched nature define the journey. Along the way, you’ll pass through lush cloud forests, open páramo ecosystems, and rugged alpine terrain, each offering its own unique beauty.

This route also follows ancient paths once used by indigenous communities and later by early settlers crossing the mountains between regions. These high-altitude corridors played an important role in connecting territories long before modern roads existed, making this trek not only a physical challenge but a journey through Colombia’s natural and cultural history.

Hikers can expect sweeping views of rolling mountains, unique high-altitude vegetation like frailejones, and the chance to spot native wildlife and birds. As you gain elevation, the scenery becomes more raw and remote, leading to breathtaking panoramic views that make every step worth it.
